Owned many carriers...this was the best!!

My newborn was so colicky/fussy that I was able to do nothing other than hold him 24/7 unless I would just let him scream. I had an Ergo, and an Infantino until I bought this and it was a godsend!! It was the only carrier that would support my newborn's neck and head so he would actually feel comfy enough to fall asleep in it. During the nighttime colicky hours I was actually able to feed him in this carrier. Now that we are out of the newborn phase (he's 4 months old) he LOVES it still! I now pull down the sides so he is able to see out and observe. I have yet to turn him facing forward but am excited to try it. This carrier is also easy when the baby falls asleep to unhook without waking him!! Please think of using this before you spend too much money or don't spend enough! The original is still around for a reason!!

I bought this when my daughter was one month old and would not let us ever set her down during the day! The Bjorn gave me my hands backs!!! I wore this around the house, out on walks for several miles, and running errands around town - she slept through everything perfectly!! My daughter is 27 inches and the Bjorn has tons of room left to grow with her. The more expensive Bjorns have different back support options for the adults, but so far I haven't had any pain or issues and our daughter is about 16 pounds now.
I gave four stars because I wish it had a pocket somewhere to hold pacifiers or iPods, etc. Otherwise, great buy!!
